Scrap Spritz - Zero Waste Cocktail

This weekendโ€™s perfect pour โ€” vibrant, bold, and proof that nothing truly good ever goes to waste.

๐ŸŒ Scrap Spritz
A fizzy, feel-good highball using fruit trimmings, herb stems, and your zero waste Wagyu rum. Light, zesty, and guilt-free.

Ingredients:
45ml Zero Waste Wagyu Rum
20ml Fermented Fruit Scrap Syrup* (see below)
Sparkling water/ prosecco if you've some open to top up

Fruit Scrap Shrub
Use apple cores, pineapple skins, strawberry tops, or citrus pulp.

Combine 1 cup fruit scraps, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup vinegar (apple cider or white wine).

Let sit in the fridge for 2โ€“3 days, then strain. Boom โ€” instant flavour bomb.

Instructions:
Build Rum and Fruit Syrup over ice in a tall glass.
Stir gently.
Top with sparkling water or prosecco
Garnish with a mint stem or herb sprig from the garden
